Food Collages
Bear Creek School - 4th Grade - 2025
During the elementary unit of my student teaching my mentor, Mrs. West, and I had the 4th grade classes do some gelli printing, resulting in hundreds of monoprints. Afterwards we were trying to come up with an idea as to what we could have the students do with the excess monoprints, and that’s when I came up with the idea for them to be repurposed into food collages!
Logo Design

The high school students of my mentor’s, Mrs. Schock, and my Graphic Design class were each given a fictitious client to create a logo for, as well as showing the logo they created incorporated on an item (“merch”)

Students of this Graphic Design class were then tasked with creating animated .GIFs for their next assignment, using the Procreate program on their iPads

Surreal Photo Collage
Students in the Photo 2 class were asked to create surreal collages, using their own photographs that they’ve taken throughout the semester

These same Photo 2 students were later given the assignment of choosing one person to be the subject of their Day in the Life photo series, wherein they would illustrate a typical day in that chosen person’s life through 12 or more photographs that they took
